When The Boy cries, I pretty much drop everything and go to him; I'll pick him up, hug and kiss him, and hold him close until he feels better. With Younger Bro, I'll almost inevitably hand him off to Mum, who has a similar soothing affect on YB as I do on his older brother. The little one doesn't soothe with me and never has. If Mum isn't around, I do my best, but he's a screamer regardless. 8(
